Ingredients

Use this:

  • 2-3lbs beef soup or marrow bones

  • water to top

  • Slow cooker

Preparation

Do this:

In a crockpot cook bones covered with water for 8-12 hours.

Drain through a sieve.

Store covered in fridge.

Cover bones with water again and cook for 8-12 hours.

When batch 1 is chilled, remove the tallow from the top and store it later.

Combine with warm broth and store in airtight container.


Combine batches and sip, store, or use them for soup base.
